I went to The Roof Gardens nightclub many years ago. It is now a club and restaurant owned by The Virgin empire. The restaurant is Babylon with a rooftop garden overlooking Kensington High st. Great location and view. We send venues a simple form to fill in regarding access and facilities prior to a visit and I have to say Babylon were the most prompt in replying. Needless to say access appears to be easy as there is a ramp and a lift and for those with sticks there are stairs with a rail if you prefer. The disabled toilet also appears to be useable and not too far from everything (see the floor plan) – all is on one level.

The food is ‘contemporary British’ and there is also a seafood & champagne bar. Flamingoes and ducks are resident in the gardens and not on the menu – I hope! The pictures of the place certainly look beautiful and extremely stylish.

There is still a rooftop ‘private members club’ and I may attempt joining for research purposes only!?
