Casamia is an Italian restaurant in Westbury-on-Trym. It’s a family-run business that, having been handed down from parents to children, has gone on to gain a Michelin star. It’s a real success story for this little restaurant to have become one of the most highly rated in the country. Casamia, focuses on providing a seasonal experience, not only through seasonal recipes but also by changing the restaurant’s decor to reflect the season.

Square Meal included Casamia in their list of the Top 50 UK restaurants outside London. They said:

“An appealing menu of contemporary Italian food pays close attention to the seasons as well as top-quality produce.”

The main problem with the restaurant is that they don’t have a disabled toilet, which is a shame. Otherwise, things are OK access wise. There are no steps inside and the restaurant is on the ground floor. The restaurant is hidden from the main high street and is found down a little alleyway which looks fairly smooth for wheelchair users.

The restaurant sounds very good but due to the absence of a disabled toilet Casamia gets a provisional 2 BBS Ticks.
