The Duke of Sussex is a ‘trendy, hipster’ pub that also has plenty of Chiswick yummy mummies after school. Sounds somewhere to avoid but if you can time it right, it’s a great place for spanish food, good wine and speciality cider. Access is easy as it’s all flat, the entrance is a bit narrow but I managed to get through without the palaver of unlocking the second door. It’s decor is exposed brick and chandeliers and can be noisy when there’s a lot of children. Tables in the evening and Sunday lunch need to be reserved due to it’s popularity.
