The Frozen Mop Pub in Mobberley Cheshire, was visited by the American Lieutenant over the Xmas Break. He recommends it highly as the food is good and it’s largely accessible. I was bemused to see that their toilet is an ‘Easy Access’ one. Here is his very succinct report:

The Frozen Mop is part of the Vintage Inn Chain but don’t let that put you off, it’s still very individual in character. It’s an ‘old Cheshire pub set in a timeless village that dates back to the Doomsday Book’. Anyway, the food is very good and the pies are the inspiration of James Martin, the TV chef.

The majority of the pub and dining room are totally accessible, there is a small section opposite the bar where there is a small single step down to a table and chair area with open fireplace. The “EASY ACCESS TOILET” (see pic) is on the upper level between the bar and dining area, so no step involved.
