Listing Description

“Hotel Termas is a 4 star hotel sited in a thermal complex of more than 200,000 sqm, located in the province of Murcia, in the Natural Place Ricote Valley, near the Segura River as it passes through Archena.

It is a traditional Spanish Hotel with the unique advantage of being built on hot springs which provide an unlimited supply of hot water and mud which forms the basis of many of there therapies. As well as the mud treatments, they have a variety of water based therapies and a selection of large pools. The place is used by many older people and some families and is very ‘old fashioned’ in comparison to other modern spas.

The one downside coming from London, where there is lots of choice, is that the food choices were limited and they didn’t seem very ‘accessibility’ aware. Having said that they are changing and  only took 24 hours to install the handrails I requested. On the plus side, importantly, they were very friendly and helpful. Its also flat throughout, making wheelchair access easy. “
