I and an old and friend are visiting Indian Zing at the end of November, after realising that the Chef Proprietor, Manoj Vasaikar, was my neighbour. We both watched the Olympic Torch pass our building and another neighbour highly recommended the food!!

There are also two other restaurants in the group Indian Zest in Sunbury and Indian Zilla in Barnes. Both have one step to get in but are then flat and neither have disabled toilets – lack of space I assume?? Hopefully someone will send me a review of these as there are only so many meals a girl can eat in a life time??!!

Suffice to say I’m looking forward to the visit to Indian Zing, especially as the Michelin Guide 2011 said:

“Flavoursome and quite refined Indian cooking from across the continent”,

and Lieutenant No 1 said there would be plenty of local celeb spotting. I will update once we’ve been but they assured me there was level access and a disabled toilet.

Indian Zing get a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks, while Zilla & Zest get provisional 1.5 BBS Ticks.
