Listing Description

One Hundred Shoreditch was formerly the Ace Hotel, this sister hotel to Sea Containers has undergone a makeover.

Wheelchair Friendly Hotel Shoreditch

Very welcoming staff and lots of good accessibility but above all it was definitely the most ‘hip’ hotel I’d visited in a long time.

Access is pretty good and there’s a platform lift at the entrance. Receptionists greet you so no need to reach the desk. Even when busy the acoustics were good. the coffee bar just off reception had good lowered tables and was a quieter area to sit. Everywhere had good natural light except the Seed Library, being in the basement.

Coffee bar is a quieter accessible place to sit with low tables & no leg obstructions
Well maintained lift from street

The bar downstairs, The Seed Library (reviewed separately) is also exceptional. The staff escort you down as it’s a slightly complex yet accessible route to the bar. The terrace bar is also accessible with its own disabled toilet, most importantly they have great cocktails and a DJ at each bar.

Terrace Bar
Flat Access All Areas
Terrace Bar Diabled Toilet…….
& reachable sink

Everywhere has smooth flat access, and the accessible room we saw had low-pile carpet and simple, clean decor. All the controls were at wheelchair height, and there’s a lowered rail in the wardrobe.

Spacious Double Room with good all round access at this Wheelchair Friendly Hotel Shoreditch
Plain uncluttered room low pile carpet & natural light
Alarm by bed and all controls reachable
Good visual contrast in bedroom
Toilet has all 5 rails
Alarm by shower chair
Lowered wardrobe rail

2 alarms in the bathroom and one by the bed. The bathroom had all the right rails and good visual contrast.

A well-deserved 3BBS Ticks for this Wheelchair Friendly Hotel in Shoreditch
