Listing Description

Parabola is the cafe/restaurant/bar located in the previously reviewed Design Museum, Kensington. It is open from lunch through dinner serving

‘seasonal dishes from the classic to the modern, under the stewardship of head-chef Graham Blower (Mark Hix, Angela Hartnett)’.

Most exciting is the ‘pop-up’ series of dinners produced by some renowned chefs. The latest is TV chef Valentine Warner who will be in residence from 7th Feb to 31st March. There’s also a cocktail bar (doesn’t appear to have a lowered area for wheelchair users),

‘serving 10 classic cocktails alongside a regularly changing list of 10 – many inspired by the herbs and botanicals to be found in the neighbouring Kyoto Gardens’.

Not audited yet but we give them a provisional 2 BBS Ticks as there seems to be some issue regarding the signage and the disabled toilets,??

Parabola is The New Restaurant & Bar at The Design Museum
Floors are Flat & Smooth
Cocktail Bar Looks Good Overlooking Holland Park But Not Sure if There’s a Lowered Part for Wheelchair Users or People Who Can’t Manage Bar Stools!!
