The Xara Palace in Mdina, is set amongst the fortress walls of this historic city. Mdina referred to as the Silent City. Perched on a hilltop, with its massive walls and peaceful shady streets. The Xara Palace is accessible and has a room with a wet room but there are no grab rails. A Chateaux & Relais hotel that looks beautiful but with disappointing facilities. They also have a gourmet restaurant the de Mondion, which is “incorporated into the bastion walls – not just any old terrace with a view!”

This hotel has attracted visitors such as ‘Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone, Orlando Bloom, Jennifer Anniston, Bruce Willis’, so even though you can’t shower easily you can celeb watch!
